THAT’s a knife…..

From a fascination of sharpening knives came an addiction to making them, striving for perfection both aesthetically and in functionality. Refining designs and experimenting with materials makes each Black House knife unique. We create bushcraft and kitchen knives, working with high carbon steels and occasionally stainless steel, paring them with handles of ethically sourced timber to produce something of beauty. Some of our more unusual knives are repurposed from old farriers rasps and files.

We also offer a knife sharpening service (where it all began), so if you need your knife to cut like a laser and shave like a razor once more, please get in touch.
